6. Kirk Cousins, QB, Minnesota Vikings

From Week 1-Week 6, diminished by 10 interceptions (multiple picks three times), Cousins was QB17 in fantasy. After the Vikings’ Week 7 bye, spurred by just three interceptions, he was QB8. Widen to Week 17 if you’re so inclined, and he was QB4 in fantasy from Week 8-17.

From Week 9-Week 16, Cousins had multiple touchdown passes in seven of eight games with more than 270 yards in the last six of those. Over that stretch, with more than 36 pass attempts in six of seven games from Week 10-16, he was QB6.

Cousins stands as an empty numbers guy, and an atypically bad Vikings’ defense pushed him into more pass volume in 2020. But fantasy managers don’t ever have to apologize for production, and Cousins delivered.
