4. Myles Gaskin, RB, Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins remodeled their backfield last offseason by signing Jordan Howard and trading for Matt Breida. But in Week 3 (22 carries), Gaskin took hold of the lead role and would probably have never let it go if not for a shoulder injury and a stint on the COVID-19 list.

From Week 3-Week 8, Gaskin was RB15 in full PPR. In the seven games he played from Week 3 on (before Week 17), here are his finishes in full PPR.

Week 3: RB21
Week 4: RB36
Week 5: RB8
Week 6: RB7
Week 8: RB17
Week 13: RB16
Week 16: RB2

Navigating Gaskin’s absences in the second half of the season was not easy, with a nod to Salvon Ahmed stepping in as Miami’s lead back in his place for a few games. But when he was on the field he was a fantasy starter, and everything optimists though Howard or Breida would be in 2020 Gaskin was.
