Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers at New England Patriots

Jamaal Williams may have scored his first rushing touchdown in Week 8, but Jones has outplayed him in since he’s returned from suspension. He’s had two fantasy worthy performances against the Rams and the Bills, and it’s only a matter of time before he officially starts getting a majority of the carries. What holds him back is his pass blocking, which is why Williams still gets the snaps. So that’s why Jones remains a flex play rather than a RB2 start. Against the Patriots, who have surrendered just one 100-yard rusher and one 100-yard game from another running back, but they’re average against the position. 10 different backs have scored at least 9.0 fantasy points in a PPR league setup, so this is a prime opportunity for Jones to remain a flex play in Week 9.
