Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

At the end of the weekend, Newton is steady. That’s the best word to describe Newton’s 2018 campaign, which was all over the place until he settled down after his Week 4 Bye. Since then, he’s averaging 225.0 yards per game. Newton has thrown at least two touchdowns in six straight games and they’re only one game back from the NFC South leading Saints. He’s also rushing 44.1 yards per game, with nearly 9.0 attempts per game. Newton also has four rushing touchdowns, which always adds to his point total. Meanwhile, the Bucs have yet to face a dual-threat quarterback this season, but they’ve surrendered multiple touchdowns in six of their seven games. Newton is always a wild card, but like a roller coaster, when the thrills are coming fast and frequent, stay on that ride.
