O.J. Howard, Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers

Even with the change at quarterback, Howard has not seen his stats dip. He’s caught for at least 60 yards in five of the first seven games. Howard also has touchdowns in two of this last three games and is averaging five targets per game. You love to see your tight end be regularly targeted and in the flow of the offense and Howard is doing that, even with Cameron Brate still getting end zone looks. It hasn’t mattered much at all for Howard because the offense keeps visiting the red zone so frequently, there’s enough to go around. But if you’re looking for a strong weekly starter, Howard has emerged as a TE1.
