C.J. Uzomah, Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs
It’s taken some time to get Uzomah to get the targets that Tyler Eifert used to get but last week he pulled in 6-of-7 targets for 54 yards. He didn’t get that coveted touchdown but those targets are what you like to see out of a tight end. Tyler Kroft also broke his foot earlier in the week, which will give Uzomah 1-2 more looks, especially in the red zone. Defenses will begin to look at Tyler Boyd, so Uzomah is the next in line to get some of that action in moving the chains. He’s already third on the team with first down catches and he’ll lock that role down moving forward. While the Chiefs don’t give um many scores to the position, at least five different tight ends have caught for at least 50 yards against them.
