Here are your Week 3 Fantasy Football Tight Ends to Start.
O.J. Howard, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
Last week could skew the way people view the Steelers defense against the tight end. Travis Kelce is one of the best in the NFL so catching 7-of-10 targets for 109 yards and two touchdowns isn’t something that translates to every other tight end. Still, in this renaissance era of Ryan Fitzpatrick, he’s clearly targeting Howard over Cameron Brate, six targets vs. two, which Howard has pulled in five catches for 150 yards and one touchdown. Brate has nothing in 2018 yet and at this point looks like a better play if Jameis Winston gets back on the field. The fact remains that the Steelers’ linebackers are still missing a player of Ryan Shazier’s caliber and teams are taking advantage of it. Howard is just as athletic as Kelce but is only now getting targeted. In a game that could be yet another shootout, Howard is a nice tight end to make a calculated gamble on.
