Here are your Week 9 Fantasy Football Tight Ends to Sit.

Mike Gesicki, Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets

There shouldn’t be a lot of fantasy owners who are counting on Gesicki but might be trying to hunt and peck to find a one-week flier given how many quality tight ends are on bye. The rookie looks like someone who could turn into a low-end starter one day but not right now. That said, he’s better than Tyler Higbee or other tight ends who are rarely targeted. He is after all getting around four targets per game but this is not a great matchup, nor is Gesicki getting enough red zone targets to make him worth the start.
