Chris Herndon, New York Jets at Chicago Bears
With all the injuries suffered by Jets receivers, Herndon has been a reliable red zone threat for Sam Darnold. He’s caught a touchdown in each of the last two games and caught at least 40 yards in both games. Unfortunately for Herndon owners, the Bears could pick up on this trend as they try to restore some of the good play they began the season with. The tight end field is thin, so I can see owners sticking to their guns because there’s a chance for at least a touchdown with Herndon, if nothing else, but those hoping for a breakout game need to wait for next week against the Dolphins who have given up five touchdowns in the last three games to the position.
