Here are your Week 5 Fantasy Football Tight Ends to Sit.

Kyle Rudolph, Minnesota Vikings at Philadelphia

Rudolph has been a key player in standard leagues, getting just five-to-seven receptions and scoring two touchdowns. However, the Eagles have blanked the opposing tight ends in three out of the first four games of the season. With Dalvin Cook returning too, that may reduce some of the heat that has Vikings have felt to run the ball. Either way, the Eagles are a first-rated defense and so we do not expect much out of Rudolph.

Ben Watson, New Orleans Saints vs. Washington Redskins

Watson has limited appeal in fantasy. Purely a TE2 on most weeks, Watson did get some action against the Falcons in Week 3. But the Saints offense has really pulled away from featuring the tight end since Jimmy Graham was sent to Seattle. Watson’s erratic production gets emphasized against a defense that has limited tight ends to less than 45 receiving yards in each game and has allowed just one touchdowns to the position. – Ernie Estrella
