Marcus Mariota, Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans
Just when Mariota strung two good games together and looked like he could add a third, he gets his neck injured. He practiced in full Friday and is expected to be in the huddle Sunday but he blew a good opportunity to have a great game against a suspect defense and win an important divisional rival game. So some are thinking that he’s in line for a bounce back week in a game that is just as important as Week 11. Not us. The Texans have closed the door on letting a quarterback meet them. After September, no quarterback has scored more than one touchdown against the Texans. Granted, they’ve faced some average to subpar quarterbacks, but Mariota, with just seven touchdowns and six interceptions on the year, has no room to earn any trust in this final push for the fantasy playoffs.
