Drafts are done. The regular season is here and now that you’ve finalized your roster, it’s time to put the right players forward and start the season fast. Seasoned fantasy players know about the studs and chalky plays so at Bruno Boys we try to help wade through the matchups on those tougher decisions, or point out when there’s a great matchup that you should go all-in on. That said, the early part of the season can be a tough one since the preseason shows so little to go on. Still, we feel very strong about these recommendations and you should use them to help guide you to your starting lineup.
Here are your Week 1 Fantasy Football Kickers to Start.
Ka’imi Fairbairn, Houston Texans at New Orleans Saints
It’s difficult to repeat such a great year kicking the ball, but Fairbairn is poised to be in position to do it again. The Texans suffered a great blow to their offense when they lost Lamar Miller to a torn ACL. They traded for Duke Johnson Jr. and Carlos Hyde, but their run game is far from being one worthy of praise. So for now, they’re a one-dimensional team until they can prove otherwise. Owners of fantasy kickers should love one-dimensional teams because their respected teams will have problems punching it into the end zone. Coaches love to be conservative and go for three instead of risking it all for the chance at seven points. The Texans should struggle in the early goings of the 2019 season and because of that, Fairbairn is in line for three or four field goal attempts.
