Sterling Shepard, New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles
With all the turmoil going on in and out of the Giants locker room, they might be catching the Eagles at the right time. Philadelphia has been in a funk, and some are attributing that to the hangover of the Super Bowl win, but that doesn’t carry over this deep into the season. Poor preparation and a lack of a healthy roster does though. Being put in compromising positions as a defense makes you open to making mistakes and that’s what the secondary has been doing with regularity this season. They were repeatedly burned by the Titans’ receivers. The Vikings’ deadly duo were money against the Eagles too. Let’s not forget the Falcons and and Bucs passing all over the defending champs. Odell Beckham is going to get his, but Shepard has been the stable constant in a offense full of volatility.
