Kenyan Drake, Miami Dolphins at New York Jets

It’s going to be hard to be optimistic about Drake’s chances at being a work horse back for the Dolphins after gaining just 48 yards off of 14 carries. He got 14 carries, so that’s a plus, but compared to what Frank Gore did with nine carries (61 yards) and you feel like it’s just a matter of time before Gore starts getting the lion’s share. Then owners need to consider how well the Jets run defense was against the Lions, holding Kerryon Johnson and Theo Riddick to 37 combined rushing yards and 35 combined receiving yards. One could look to the Jets jumping on their signals but we’ll give them some credit and back off until we see them play a few more weeks. – Ernie Estrella
