Here are your Week 2 Fantasy Football Running Backs to Sit.
Marlon Mack, Indianapolis Colts at Washington Redskins
The Redskins gave up a total of 115 yards to the Cardinals’ running backs. That’s total, folks. Yes, they gave up a touchdown to David Johnson but he only had 14 touches, including nine carries. Mack missed Week 1 and in his absence, the Colts tried Jordan Wilkins, Nyheim Hines and Christine Michael. None of them proved to be very effective against the Bengals so Mack isn’t competing with much but even if the time share goes down to 2-3 backs, it’s still unclear how committed the Colts are to run. Last week it looked like the Colts were falling on old habits, namely the Andrew Luck show. Returning from a hamstring injury doesn’t help matters but it might be the first sign that Mack could be useful in a few weeks. Until then, keep him on the bench until there’s a better matchup (Week 7 against the Bills). – Ernie Estrella
