With Emmanuel Sanders leaving in free agency, surely the Niners were going to add to their receivers with Jerry Jeudy and many more receivers on the board. But the 14th pick of the NFL Draft went to pass rusher Javon Kinlaw, arguably the second or third best pass rusher in the draft.
He has a great pursuit and is a stud, that will only add to a ferocious defense which lost DeForest Buckner. There is a concern about his injury history but the Niners add to a wealth of linemen who can get after the quarterback.
Look for the Niners to maintain their defensive prowess heading into the 2020 season. Kinlaw ensures the pipeline of pass rushers is full for the Niners who already have one of the most feared 4-3 defenses in the league.
