DeVante Parker, WR, Miami Dolphins
With Albert Wilson (hip) done for the season and Kenny Stills (groin) seemingly in line to miss a few games, Parker is back in the good graces of the Dolphins somewhat by default. His numbers were helped by a fluke deflection against the Houston Texans in Week 8, but the former first-round pick grabbed six of nine targets for 134 yards.
Trade rumors have surrounded Parker, and there’s still a faint possibility he’s moved before Tuesday afternoon’s deadline. But the Dolphins seem ready (resigned?) to keep him, and favorable matchups are coming against the New York Jets (Week 9), Green Bay Packers (Week 10) and Indianapolis Colts (Week 12) around a Week 11 bye.
Parker has a primary role in Miami again, and if he is traded there’s a good chance he’ll have a similar opportunity with a new team. Health is the primary concern then, and as long as he’s able to be in uniform Parker is worth a look as WR3/WR4 in 12 and 14-team leagues
