Baker Mayfield, QB, Cleveland Browns

Mayfield struggled on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers, completing less than half of his passes (22-for-46) for 238 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. But his upcoming schedule is as good as it can get.

Entering Week 6, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (worst), Pittsburgh Steelers (second-worst), Kansas City Chiefs (fifth-worst) and Atlanta Falcons (fourth-worst) made up four of the worst five fantasy defenses against quarterbacks (ESPN scoring). From Week 7-Week 10, Mayfield gets all four of them right in the aforementioned row.

The rush to add Mayfield has slowed a lot, and his ownership rates may well flat line after a dismal performance on Sunday. But there’s not a better schedule for a quarterback over the next month, and Mayfield will be no worse than a high-end streamer to help navigate some difficult upcoming bye weeks.
