Kadarius Toney, WR , New York Giants

With Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton (hamstrings) inactive again, and Kenny Golladay (knee) missing the second half on Sunday, Toney basically became the only healthy Giants’ wide receiver against the Dallas Cowboys. He delivered 10 catches for 189 yards and a rush attempt for seven yards, as no one else had more than four catches. After getting very little use over the first three games, the rookie out of Florida has 16 receptions on 22 targets over the last two games.

Shepard, Slayton and Golladay aren’t exactly pictures of durability. So Toney’s role might not go away, as much by default as his own performance.

Toney left Sunday’s game in the second half with a left ankle injury, but he was able to return and seemed no worse for the wear with a big play right away. Then he was ejected for throwing a punch in the fourth quarter.

As long as Toney avoids a suspension for his punch, and it’s likely he gets away with only a fine, he’s rosterable right away in 12-team leagues as a WR3/WR4 with plenty of upside.
