Daniel Jones, QB, New York Giants

Jones was humbled by the Minnesota Vikings’ defense on Sunday, completing 21 of 38 passes for 182 yards with a touchdown and an interception. He has fallen off over the last two weeks since his great debut, but things are looking up.

Week 6 brings an incredibly tough matchup against the New England Patriots, but running back Saquon Barkley may be back from an ankle injury after pushing toward being ready to play in Week 5 and his presence will only help. After that things soften considerably for Jones, with the Arizona Cardinals (Week 7) Detroit Lions (Week 8) and New York Jets (Week 10) on the slate.

Jones raises his fantasy floor with some running ability. With some decent matchups after Week 6, and with a late bye in Week 11, his ownership rates should start trending back up as fantasy owners navigate bye weeks.
