Terrace Marshall, WR, Carolina Panthers

Marshall did not light it up the way he did in the preseason Sunday against the New York Jets, with three catches for 26 yards. But he was second among Panthers’ wide receivers with six targets in the game, as Robbie Anderson had just one target while playing 18 more snaps.

Marshall is not a great option for Week 2 against the New Orleans Saints. But better-looking matchups come after that against the Houston Texans, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings right in a row.

A bench stash of Marshall now, as he gets more run as a rookie wide receiver in meaningful game action, could pay off nicely in short order. He has to be rostered in 12-team leagues.
