Robby Anderson, WR, New York Jets
Anderson had nine receptions for 140 yards and a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. He has now scored and topped 75 yards in three straight games, with double-digit targets in the last two and at least seven targets in four straight games. In three games since Sam Darnold returned from a foot injury, Anderson has a 31.9 percent target share and he should be very heavily involved in Week 17.
The New England Patriots are firmly mid-pack against wide receivers this season (ESPN PPR scoring), but they’ve now allowed a touchdown to the position in seven straight games and they’re bottom-10 in wide receiver targets.
Anderson saw a rightful boost in ownership rate last week, but he came from so low he’s still available in around 45 percent of ESPN leagues. If you’re looking for a high-upside WR2/WR3 in 12-team leagues, look no further.
