Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens
Jackson went 12-for-22 for 204 yards with a touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday night, while adding 39 rushing yards. That was his highest passing yardage and lowest rushing yardage in his six starts, but he still delivered over 16 fantasy points (Yahoo! scoring, four points per passing touchdown) for the sixth straight game.
Jackson will look to stay on a solid roll in Week 17. The Cleveland Browns entered Week 16 in the middle of the pack against quarterbacks (17.0 points per game; ESPN scoring), with zero or one touchdown pass allowed in three straight games. But the allowed two passing touchdowns to Bengals quarterback Jeff Driskel on Sunday, along with 21 rushing yards to him. It goes without saying Jackson is a better runner than Driskel.
Jackson remains inexplicably under-owned heading into Week 17. If he’s out there in your league, he’s a must-start in two-quarterback formats and a low-end QB1 if you are looking for an upside starter.
