Nick Foles, QB, Philadelphia Eagles

Foles went 35-for-49 for 471 yards and four touchdowns with one interception against the Houston Texans on Sunday, and in two starts since taking back over for Carson Wentz (back) the reigning Super Bowl MVP has throw for 741 yards. As the Eagles cling to playoff hopes, a nice matchup is coming in Week 17.

The Washington Redskins entered Week 16 in the bottom half of the league against quarterbacks (ESPN scoring), after having allowed multiple passing touchdowns in three straight games from Week 13-Week 15. Since then, back-to-back weeks against Cody Kessler and combination of Marcus Mariota and Blaine Gabbert have skewed the numbers in a way that begs for correction as Washington’s defense makes business decisions in Week 17.

There’s a slim chance Wentz plays in Week 17. But he had 306 yards and two touchdowns against the Redskins back in Week 13, and Foles is in line for a similar stat line if he gets the nod.
