DaeSean Hamilton, WR, Denver Broncos
Hamilton had seven receptions for 46 yards against the Cleveland Browns in Week 15, which matched his catch total from the previous game and he has stepped into Emmanuel’ Sanders’ role with 21 targets over the last two contests (good for a 23.3 percent target share over that span).
Hamilton hasn’t reached 50 yards in either of the last two games in a prominent role, but that may change in Week 16. The Oakland Raiders entered Week 15 in the top dozen of the league against wide receivers, but lack of volume has driven that more than anything, as opposing wide receivers entered the week tied for the sixth-fewest total targets in the league. A closer look shows the Raiders have allowed 20 touchdowns to wide receivers this year, which puts them among the worst in the league.
Hamilton’s ownership rates spiked a lot last week, and he’s still available in the vast majority of leagues with a better matchup in store for Week 16. He’s a solid WR3, particularly in PPR leagues, with difference-making WR2 upside.
