Dante Pettis, WR, San Francisco 49ers

Pettis only had three catches for 49 yards against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, but he did score a touchdown in a third straight game and the fourth time in that span overall. He has at least seven targets in all three games since San Francisco’s bye, and at least six targets in four straight games.

Pettis had five receptions for 129 yards and two touchdowns against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13, and he’ll get them again in Week 15. Week 16 is a better matchup than you realize, as the Chicago Bears entered Week 14 in the bottom-10 of the league against wide receivers with multiple touchdowns allowed to the position in two of their last three games with a Sunday night game to play as of this writing. Then the prospect of the 49ers having to throw a lot against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 17 makes a reasonably favorable matchup a little better.

Pettis is somewhat touchdown dependent, but the return of Marquise Goodwin on Sunday did not encroach on his target volume. That may change if Pierre Garcon (knee) ever suits up again this season, but Pettis is a solid, bankable low-end WR3/high-end WR4 in 12 and 14-team leagues until further notice.
