Baker Mayfield, QB, Cleveland Browns

Mayfield went 19-for-26 for 258 yards and four touchdowns against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, and he now has multiple passing touchdowns in five straight games with only two interceptions over that span. The softest part of his schedule is over now, but the 2017 Heisman Trophy winner is lined up to remain a fantasy asset down the stretch.

The Houston Texans, who entered Week 12 allowing the fourth-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks (ESPN scoring) are on the slate for Mayfield in Week 13. But they also haven’t faced a great slate of quarterbacks, and those who are pretty good (Tom Brady, Andrew Luck) did well. The Week 14 brings the Carolina Panthers, who have allowed multiple passing touchdowns in seven of their last eight games at least 325 yards through the air in two of their last three.

In Week 15 Mayfield gets the Denver Broncos, who have allowed over 300 passing yards in three of the last four games. Then the Bengals are on the slate again in Week 16.

Mayfield is practically a must-start in two-quarterback leagues now, and he’s pushing toward low-end QB1 value while remaining widely available.
