Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys
Prescott completed 22 of 32 passes for 208 yards against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, as he saved his fantasy day with his fourth rushing touchdown in the last five games. His streak of accounting for multiple touchdowns ended at four games, but a rebound opportunity is ahead for Week 12 on Thanksgiving Day.
The Washington Redskins held Deshaun Watson in check on Sunday (208 passing yards with one touchdown and two interceptions; seven rushing yards). But they had allowed over 300 passing yards in each of their previous three games (and in four of their previous six), with at least 265 yards allowed through the air in their previous seven games (multiple passing touchdowns four times). One solid game does not shift that trend.
Prescott has a favorable schedule coming from Week 13-16, against the New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. All four entered Week 11 in the bottom half of the league against quarterbacks (ESPN scoring), with the Saints, Buccaneers and Eagles in the bottom-10.
Sunday’s relatively disappointing effort might keep Prescott’s ownership rates right where they are, or they may even drop a bit. But he’s still got weekly QB1 upside at the most important time of the season for fantasy owners.
