Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens

Jackson didn’t light it up through the air on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals (13-for-19 for 150 yards with an interception), in his first NFL start, but he did run for 117 yards (on 27 attempts) and post a solid fantasy outing anyway.

Assuming Joe Flacco (right hip) remains out in Week 12, Jackson should start again in a very favorable matchup. The Oakland Raiders have allowed multiple passing touchdowns in eight straight games, and in nine of 10 on the season. After that, nice matchups against the Atlanta Falcons, Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are coming from Week 13-15 for whoever is under center for Baltimore.

Jackson’s hold on the starting job may be subject to Flacco’s status, for better or worse. But the rookie is definitely still worth adding as a QB2 in 12 and 14-team leagues, if only for the upside potential.
