Justin Fields, QB, Chicago Bears

In Week 9 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, before a Week 10 bye, Fields had the best game of his young career (291 passing yards, 45 rushing yards, one touchdown, one interception). He combined a willingness/comfort to throw downfield with his running ability that’s being unfurled (32 attempts over the last four games).

Coming off the bye Fields gets the Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions, Arizona Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks from Week 11-16. None of the matchups are actually that great-looking, but all of the above have allowed good outings to quarterbacks this season.

Fields is getting better, and a Week 10 bye kept his ownership rates down. But he should be owned in 12 and 14-team leagues as a QB2 with potential to fill-in for remaining byes and start in two-quarterback formats.
