Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Miami Dolphins

Tagovailoa was efficient and solidly proficient through their air Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers, completing 15 of 25 passes for 169 yards and two touchdowns. End of game kneel-downs took him into negative rushing yardage for the game But he does have two touchdowns in back-to-back games.

Week 11 brings a matchup against the Denver Broncos, who entered Week 10 allowing the eighth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks (Yahoo! scoring). The comes the New York Jets, who entered their Week 10 bye allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to the position (Yahoo! scoring). Then the Cincinnati Bengals, who have allowed multiple passing touchdowns in six straight games now, are on the docket in Week 13.

Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs will have two things going for Tagovailoa. One, the game will be at home in South Florida December weather. Second, the game script is sure to force plenty of pass volume. After a tougher matchup in Week 15 (New England Patriots), he’ll get a nice matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 16.

Tagovailoa’s been increasingly on the streaming radar since he took over as the starter. He is not a threat to throw 40-45 times a game in Miami’s ideal formula, but the rookie signal caller is a must-add in two-quarterback leagues and a worthy QB2/streamer in single-QB formats.
