Hi Bruno Boys Nation. In December, we brought in Drew Hemond and the TNT Bets team to be our resident Player Prop experts. Drew & the TNT Bets team will be covering player props in the NFL, NBA, MLB and more throughout the year. Continue to check back on a regular basis for Drew’s articles and while you’re at it, head over to his Twitter account for more free and VIP sports betting plays.
We have a player prop bet we really like in the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cleveland Browns game and a straight bet in the Sunday night showdown with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers traveling into New Orleans to take on the Saints.
Before we get to the sports betting picks, let’s quickly recap our record on posted plays:
TNT Bets NFL Player Prop Record: 4-1 (+2.85u)
TNT Bets NFL ATS Record: 1-0 (+1.0u)
Cleveland Browns (12-5) at Kansas City Chiefs (14-2)
or our first player prop we head over to Arrowhead stadium. The Cleveland Browns are coming off their biggest win in decades and now face their biggest task the NFL has to offer.
The Chiefs are well rested and ready to defend their Super Bowl 54 title.
In a game script that says Cleveland will be playing from behind, the value play truly comes at the quarterback position.
Baker Mayfield is 5-1 overall in his last 6 games versus a passing yard total and I’m confident he will surpass his player prop yardage total again. Time to silence the haters.
Pick: Baker Mayfield Over 261.5 Passing Yards (+100)
Risk: 1 unit
To Win: 1 unit
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (12-5) at New Orleans Saints (13-4)
For my second play that really shows value. We head to the last game on this Divisional slate. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel to the Superdome to take on the New Orleans Saints. This game features two families quarterbacks, where Tom Brady will try to upend Drew Brees in his first taste of the NFC postseason.
This Saints team has shown that they are the real deal and quite frankly have Tampa’s number this season.
In Week 1, the Saints walked away with an 11 point victory.
In Week 9. the Saints really just played around with the Buccaneers. They jumped on them early and this game was over by halftime. It ended up being an easy 35 point win for the Saints.
The defense makes the difference in this game and I like New Orleans’ a lot more than Tampa Bay’s.
Pick: Saints -3 (-115)
Risk: 1.15 unit
To Win: 1 unit
