New Orleans Saints wide receiver Joe Morgan suffered a torn ACL at practice on Saturday and is expected to miss the entire 2013 season. Morgan was one of the front runners to be the Saints’s third receiver, however will need to wait another year to show off his blazing speed.

Looking to add more wide receiver depth, the New Orleans Saints signed veteran wideout Steve Breaston to a one year deal. Breaston played his last two seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs and is fresh off just an seven reception season. His best season came in 2008, as a member of the Arizona Cardinals. Breaston hauled in 77 receptions for 1,006 yards and three scores.

Often injured, yet very productive, wide receiver Marques Colston was activated from the New Orleans Saints’ PUP list on Monday. Colston had been dealing with a nagging plantar fasciitis injury that bugged hum throughout the 2012 season.
