Zach Wilson will start his NFL career as the New York Jets starting quarterback. Bringing moxie to the huddle and the ability for the big play, the former BYU quarterback will have little competition to start the season as the Jets starter. To clear the path for Wilson, Sam Darnold was dealt to the Carolina Panthers.
Bruno Boys Hot Take
The Jets must surround Wilson better than what they did with Darnold. He already has a new coach in Robert Saleh. He’ll have Corey Davis, Jamison Crowder and Denzel Mims as receivers. It’s a good start but he’ll need a running back and tight end and another cornerstone offensive tackle to pair with Mekhi Becton.
