As one of the big receivers coming out of Alabama, Jerry Jeudy figures to be a complete No. 1 receiver one day. Fortunately, the Broncos already have one in Courtland Sutton and so with the addition of Jeudy, opposing defense backfields will be reeling trying to defend this offense.
Jeudy had two straight seasons of double-digit touchdowns with a total of 24 touchdowns since 2018, and 26 overall in three years at ‘Bama. An excellent route runner, Jeudy won’t be facing double coverages early in his career with Sutton on the other side.
Drew Lock must feel like Rick Grimes of the Walking Dead going to sleep in 2019 and waking up in 2020 to see that he has Jeudy and Melvin Gordon to join Phillip Lindsay, Sutton, and Noah Fant. John Elway is definitely setting Lock up to succeed by surrounding him with grade A talent, now he just has to make that leap forward.
