ESPN’s Ed Werder is reporting retired Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has begun the NFL reinstatement process. It appears that Lynch has filed his reinstatement papers and has begun the process to come out of retirement. The 30-year-old running back has already been linked to the Raiders and Patriots, with Oakland being his No. 1 choice. However, Lynch will remain tied to the Seahawks until they elect to either trade him or grant him his outright release. Under his current deal, Lynch is due close to $9 million in 2017 with Seattle, which would eat up the remaining $8,446,424 of the team’s salary cap. He will likely be moved sooner rather than later with the NFL Draft approaching on April 27.
