NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is expected to be traded to the Oakland Raiders. The deal is contingent on a reworked contract for Lynch. Lynch, who reportedly began the NFL reinstatement process early Wednesday morning, per ESPN’s Ed Werder, is expected to be traded from the Seahawks to the Raiders. Although the deal is contingent on Lynch renegotiating his contract, the 30-year-old running back could officially become a member of the Raiders by Wednesday night. Lynch was already granted permission to negotiate with Oakland in March. Therefore, this move appears to be imminent. Expect Seattle to receive a 2017 mid-to-late round draft pick in return for Lynch’s services.
