Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians told the press Jaron Brown is the team’s No. 2 receiver “right now.” Brown, who is coming off of a torn ACL suffered last October, is healthy and impressing at training camp. So much so that Arians named him the team’s current WR2. Now, this could be a smokescreen in an attempt to push presumed starter John Brown to remain on the field—he’s been battling a quad injury at camp—but Jaron Brown appears to be ready to take on an expanded role in the upcoming campaign. This is a training camp battle worth monitoring entering the final weeks of the offseason.
