Former Wisconsin running back Corey Clement sat and watched seven rounds of the 2017 NFL Draft go by without getting a call. After the draft, it was announced that the Philadelphia Eagles were interested in Clement. On Thursday the team made it official when rookies reported for mini-camp. The Eagles current running back situation is messy. Ryan Mathews remains on the roster but the chance of him remaining on the team is doubtful. So while veterans Darren Sproles and Wendell Smallwood headline the depth chart with rookie Donnel Pumphrey, Corey Clement has a legit opportunity to make the roster and create an impact.
