Drafting your fantasy football team is the easy part, now comes the hard part, knowing who and when to start your players on any given week. Sure, it’s easy to decide what to do with your studs, but at Bruno Boys Fantasy Football, we concentrate on giving our readers start and sit advice about players who are at the middle to lower down the rankings. If you assembled your team on the strength of positions other than the one we’re highlighting in this article, chances are you have players where you have to consider the best matchups, the skill players around them, the strength of the opposing defense and their health. Here are our recommendations on who to start.
Atlanta Falcons DST at Chicago Bears
At this early part of the season, there are a few teams that we can use as the whipping boys of the league. The Jets, the Bills, the Browns and yes, the lowly Bears. After losing Cameron Meredith, we expect defenses to stack the box with eight or nine deep, stacking the wall for running back Jordan Howard. Unfortunately Mike Glennon won’t have much to throw to outside of possession receiver Kendall Wright and injury-waiting-to-happen Kevin White. Zach Miller is also an option. But the point we’re getting at is that the Bears will be a predictable team and that will make it easy for defenses to sit and pounce on passes on out routes or slants as the Bears will struggle to move the ball, much less score. Until they find a rhythm on offense, the Bears are just hoping Glennon can keep the ball away from the pursuit of the speedy and young Falcons’ defense. – Ernie Estrella
