Drafting your fantasy football team is the easy part, now comes the hard part, knowing who and when to start your players on any given week. Sure, it’s easy to decide what to do with your studs, but at Bruno Boys Fantasy Football, we concentrate on giving our readers start and sit advice about players who are at the middle to lower down the rankings. If you assembled your team on the strength of positions other than the one we’re highlighting in this article, chances are you have players where you have to consider the best matchups, the skill players around them, the strength of the opposing defense and their health. Here are our recommendations on who to start.
Indianapolis Colts DST vs. Houston Texans
In the wacky week that is Week 17, any old dog can get a bone, which is why we like Colts team defense as a Week 17 streamer. Why? The Texans are hitting the bottom of the drain and they have nothing to play for now. They’re on their third string quarterback, and that’s pushed the number of sacks and turnovers to a high number. The Texans have given up 11 sacks over the last two games and they’ve failed to score more than seven points in each game with T.J. Yates under center. Yates or Taylor Heinicke are key in this matchup and whether or not he can get anything going with DeAndre Hopkins, because they’ve been unable to get much else going besides Hopkins for the offense.
