Drafting your fantasy football team is the easy part, now comes the hard part, knowing who and when to start your players on any given week. Sure, it’s easy to decide what to do with your studs, but at Bruno Boys Fantasy Football, we concentrate on giving our readers start and sit advice about players who are at the middle to lower down the rankings. If you assembled your team on the strength of positions other than the one we’re highlighting in this article, chances are you have players where you have to consider the best matchups, the skill players around them, the strength of the opposing defense and their health. Here are our recommendations on who to start.
New England Patriots DST at Denver Broncos
We knew that the Broncos’ defense would be their strength, we just didn’t know it’d be their only strength. The run game has been erratic and the quarterback play has been atrocious whether it’s Trevor Siemian or Brock Osweiler. The Broncos have failed to reach 20 points since Week 2 and they’re giving up sacks like they’re going out of style. They’ve given up 15 since their Week 5 Bye and 28 in all. The most shocking thing is the turnovers. Quarterbacks have thrown eight picks in the last four games, and the team has lost five fumbles and opposing defenses have scored three touchdowns off turnovers and returning kicks for a total team meltdown. As for the Patriots, they’ve held four straight teams under 20 points and are looking better every week. It will be a tough environment at Mile High, but these are two teams going in opposite directions. – Ernie Estrella
