Drafting your fantasy football team is the easy part, now comes the hard part, knowing who and when to start your players on any given week. Sure, it’s easy to decide what to do with your studs, but at Bruno Boys Fantasy Football, we concentrate on giving our readers start and sit advice about players who are at the middle to lower down the rankings. If you assembled your team on the strength of positions other than the one we’re highlighting in this article, chances are you have players where you have to consider the best matchups, the skill players around them, the strength of the opposing defense and their health. Here are our recommendations on who to sit.
Detroit Lions DST at New Orleans Saints
Detroit has been one of the surprise team defenses this season, leading the league in turnovers, having a fair pass rush and scoring touchdowns, but that can’t keep up against teams like the Saints, who can overwhelm a defense if it gets rolling. This isn’t the Saints offenses of old, but they can flip the switch at any point. They have not been held under 19 points at all this season and they’re still capable of putting up over 30 points if the matchup is right. The Lions defense meanwhile haven’t been able to pick off the quarterback in two straight games, and they got knocked on their seats for a change last week. The Lions DST are worth keeping, but starting them in Week 6 will be tough to justify. – Ernie Estrella
