Drafting your fantasy football team is the easy part, now comes the hard part, knowing who and when to start your players on any given week. Sure, it’s easy to decide what to do with your studs, but at Bruno Boys Fantasy Football, we concentrate on giving our readers start and sit advice about players who are at the middle to lower down the rankings. If you assembled your team on the strength of positions other than the one we’re highlighting in this article, chances are you have players where you have to consider the best matchups, the skill players around them, the strength of the opposing defense and their health. Here are our recommendations on who to sit.
Jason Myers, K, Jacksonville Jaguars at Pittsburgh Steelers
Finding a fantasy kicker is all about opportunities and the contributing factors that play into said opportunities. The Steelers have kept those opportunities to a minimum as each opposing kicker has been able to convert just one field goal each and combined, three extra points. That’s putting some serious clamps on the opposing offense. Assuming the Steelers gets touchdowns on the scoreboard, the Jaguars will need to get it into the end zone to keep it close, which is where you’ll see more field goals. There’s also a lack of trust in Jacksonville’s offense right now. Myers won’t get enough opportunities to be a fantasy starter in Week 5 but we’re still watching this offense closely. – Ernie Estrella
