Drafting your fantasy football team is the easy part, now comes the hard part, knowing who and when to start your players on any given week. Sure, it’s easy to decide what to do with your studs, but at Bruno Boys Fantasy Football, we concentrate on giving our readers start and sit advice about players who are at the middle to lower down the rankings. If you assembled your team on the strength of positions other than the one we’re highlighting in this article, chances are you have players where you have to consider the best matchups, the skill players around them, the strength of the opposing defense and their health. Here are our recommendations on who to sit.
Sam Ficken, K, Los Angeles Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers
In his first start as the Rams new kicker, Sicken missed his only field goal attempt and one extra point. He made three other extra points but that’s not an encouraging first game. If anything he might get work just so that the team can see how bad they have it, but the problem is that the team is resting their starters on offense so we may not see the kind of offensive efficiency with the backups. There might have been some action for Ficken in hopes of feeding off of that Greg Zuerlein action, but kickers found this late in the season are often available for a reason. – Ernie Estrella
