Drafting your fantasy football team is the easy part, now comes the hard part, knowing who and when to start your players on any given week. Sure, it’s easy to decide what to do with your studs, but at Bruno Boys Fantasy Football, we concentrate on giving our readers start and sit advice about players who are at the middle to lower down the rankings. If you assembled your team on the strength of positions other than the one we’re highlighting in this article, chances are you have players where you have to consider the best matchups, the skill players around them, the strength of the opposing defense and their health. Here are our recommendations on who to sit.
JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals
If you’re thinking that Smith-Schuster is ready to set the league on fire coming off a hamstring injury, think again. These kinds of injuries linger and this is not a good matchup for JuJu. The Bengals have allowed just two receivers to reach 75 or more yards all season. And in their last three games, the Bengals have kept all but receiver out of the end zone. This is a tough, gritty game that will look to see if Antonio Brown can get loose. Big Ben Roethlisberger tends to play better at home too so that’s another hurdle the Steelers are going to have to leap over in what should be a closely contested battle. That’s not to say that JuJu won’t break a big play or two, because it’s role players like him that are difference makers in these division rival games, but the Bengals have proven week in and week out that big stat lines are not in abundance when facing the Bengals in the Jungle. – Ernie Estrella
