The NFL season is 4 weeks old and with bye weeks still going you need to be on top of making your fantasy football waiver wire claims for the upcoming week. Every year there are a handful of players that come out of nowhere to have big opening weeks and turn into fantasy gold throughout the season. With that in mind we bring to you seven players that fantasy owners should immediately try to get on their teams in Week 5.
Alvin Kamara, RB, New Orleans Saints

After totaling nine touches in the previous two games, London clearly agreed with Kamara. On Sunday against the Miami Dolphins the rookie out of Tennessee had five carries for 25 yards, while adding 10 receptions (on 10 targets) for 71 yards.
Kamara now has at least three catches in all four games this season, and he’s averaging 4.9 yards per carry. He’s making a case for more carries going forward, with his season-high of seven coming in Week 1.
The Saints have a Week 5 bye to figure out how to get Kamara ore involved as a runner. Mark Ingram will probably still be a factor in the backfield mix, but Adrian Peterson is already irrelevant after four games.
An upcoming bye is a thing, but don’t let that turn you away from Kamara this week if he’s available in your league.
