Drafting your fantasy football team is the easy part, now comes the hard part, knowing who and when to start your players on any given week. Sure, it’s easy to decide what to do with your studs, but at Bruno Boys Fantasy Football, we concentrate on giving our readers start and sit advice about players who are at the middle to lower down the rankings. If you assembled your team on the strength of positions other than the one we’re highlighting in this article, chances are you have players where you have to consider the best matchups, the skill players around them, the strength of the opposing defense and their health. Here are our recommendations on who to sit.
Dallas Cowboys DST vs. Green Bay Packers
The Packers’ strengths play to the Cowboys’ weaknesses. Green Bay cannot run the ball, although they’ll have a more traditional running back in rookie Aaron Jones’ first start of his career. We’ll give the Cowboys that strength, but we all know that the Packers live and die by Aaron Rodgers’ arm (and legs) so that’s the more lopsided matchup, where the Cowboys have given up a league-leading 101 receptions for 1,031 yards for an average of 10.2 per reception. That’s way too much comfort for Aaron Rodgers’ comfort. Dallas has also given up multiple passing touchdowns in three straight games too, so the secondary could find themselves with sore necks. – Ernie Estrella
