Drafting your fantasy football team is the easy part, now comes the hard part, knowing who and when to start your players on any given week. Sure, it’s easy to decide what to do with your studs, but at Bruno Boys Fantasy Football, we concentrate on giving our readers start and sit advice about players who are at the middle to lower down the rankings. If you assembled your team on the strength of positions other than the one we’re highlighting in this article, chances are you have players where you have to consider the best matchups, the skill players around them, the strength of the opposing defense and their health. Here are our recommendations on who to start.
Justin Tucker, K, Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals
This is a no-brainer but you’ve got to love the year that Tucker has put in. Take the month of September out of the equation and he’s been a monster ever since, hitting 28 of his last 29 field goals and scoring double-digit fantasy points in nine of his last 11 games. The Bengals are a great matchup too as they have little play for but pride, and defensively, they always play good enough to bend but don’t break around the red zone. Baltimore is making a late run at a playoff spot, so they will play it conservatively if they can’t make that crucial third down conversion. – Ernie Estrella
