Drafting your fantasy football team is the easy part, now comes the hard part, knowing who and when to start your players on any given week. Sure, it’s easy to decide what to do with your studs, but at Bruno Boys Fantasy Football, we concentrate on giving our readers start and sit advice about players who are at the middle to lower down the rankings. If you assembled your team on the strength of positions other than the one we’re highlighting in this article, chances are you have players where you have to consider the best matchups, the skill players around them, the strength of the opposing defense and their health. Here are our recommendations on who to start.
Hunter Henry, TE, San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos
The tight end became an instant red zone target for QB Philip Rivers. He scored a touchdown in 8 different games last season and finished with 478 receiving yards. With a bigger role expected in year two, Henry’s talent should be on full display against the Broncos, the same team he hauled in 8 receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown against in 2016. The Broncos are also going to take away Keenan Allen and potentially Tyrell Williams away from Philip Rivers, so the savvy quarterback is going to be looking to his safety valves to chip away at the Broncos’ tough defense. That’s why we like Henry’s fantasy outlook in Week 1. – Marc Caviglia
